One-to-One, Nitrogen-to-Phosphorus Ratio

NuStart contains equal parts nitrogen and phosphorus. Research shows that combining equal amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus in a concentrated starter band makes them more available to the plant than when they are applied separately.

Complete Multi-Nutrient Starter

NuStart contains a completely balanced formulation of NPK plus sulfur and zinc. The addition of sulfur and zinc improves NPK uptake as well as providing the important growth benefits of sulfur and zinc.

Rich in Ammoniacal Nitrogen

NuStart provides young corn plants with a healthy supply of ammoniacal nitrogen – the most nutritious form of nitrogen fertilizer. Ammoniacal nitrogen:
  • is absorbed more easily by plant roots
  • stimulates root growth
  • is assimilated directly into amino acids
  • remains positionally available
  • promotes filled ears

Contains Slow Release Nitrogen

NuStart contains DCD (dicyandiamide) slow-release nitrogen. Adding DCD enhances nitrogen feeding and reduces nitrogen losses. DCD is completely safe and non-corrosive to application equipment.
